“How does God make things happen?  With little hands and big hands.  With young hands and old hands.  With your hands!”**

Looking for a way to give back?  Need a morale boost?  Have we got the opportunities for you!  Please email info@stmarkssouthborough.org to donate or volunteer for any of the below.  Thank you in advance for your help!

Volunteer Opportunities

Help prepare and serve meals to about 300 grateful souls at St. Francis House in Boston.  Volunteers meet at 9am St. Mark's to carpool into the city.  Return will be around 1pm.  This is a most rewarding experience!  For more information or to volunteer, please contact Mark Weiler at markweilerma@gmail.com.

Prepare and/or serve a meal at Our Father's Table in Marlborough.   To volunteer, please contact Linda Ayers at layers2242@verizon.net.

Volunteers from St. Mark’s are needed to staff the Southborough Food Pantry twice a month on Tuesday, 7-8pm and Friday, 10-11am.  Please call the church office at 508-481-1917 for more information.  Donations of food items are also always welcome!

St. Mark's Adult Choir needs you!  We are looking for all voice parts to sing at the 10:45am services.  You don't have to be able to read music. We only require a love of singing!  Please see Choirmaster Philip Montgomery or any choir member after a Sunday Eucharist or just come to one of our rehearsals on Thursday evenings at 7:15pm and Sunday mornings at 10:15am. We'd love to have you join us!

Our acoustic Praise Band is always looking for new members to enhance their worship at the 9am family service.  If you'd like to join them, please contact Peter Zschokke after the service.

If you are interested in joining the Altar Guild or would like more information about our duties, please see or contact Helen Seward at 508-435-4285 or Dee Cameron at 508-481-3125.  It is a most worthwhile and rewarding ministry.

The Bargain Box needs volunteers during their spring and fall seasons to help staff the store or tag and hang clothes.  Hours of operation are Thursdays from 10-5pm and Sundays from 12-2pm.  Please contact Dee Cameron at 508-481-3125.

Job Jar

These are odd jobs that need to be done around the church and grounds

We need a volunteer to either buff/shine the floor in Stevens Hall or donate the funds for this to be done.

We need volunteers to weed the shrub/flower beds on a regular basis.

Wish List Items

These are larger purchases needed for worship-related activities here at St. Mark’s.  Donations of these items are commonly made in memory of a loved one.
