Our Father's Table, Marlborough, MA“I love the joy and laughter our group shares in preparing the food for the guests of Our Father's Table. I also love meeting our guests eye to eye and sharing the love of Christ through our presence.” “I really look forward to volunteering at Our Father's Table. It gives me great satisfaction to work with the caring team of people from our church to provide a warm meal to those who need it. The people who come in for dinner are always pleasant and very appreciative. It fills my heart with joy to know I'm helping others.” "It sounds very cliche, but we think we get more from participating in this ministry than those we are helping! It is a great feeling to be able to provide meals for those who cannot afford to feed themselves and when they leave smiling, with their stomachs full and saying how good the food was, it is like Chistmas morning when we were children!" Parishioners of St. Mark's may participate in the ministry offered at Our Father's Table in neighboring Marlborough. St. Mark's prepares and serves an evening meal four Monday evenings per year for homeless patrons. Participants may prepare a meal ahead of time, serve the meal at Our Father's Table, or both.
