Visitors' Guide Welcome, and thank you for your interest in St. Mark’s Church. The following information is intended as a guide for anyone considering attending one of our Sunday morning Eucharist services. More detailed information may be obtained through the numerous pages of this web site. St. Mark’s is located at 27 Main St., Southborough. Parking is available in the lot behind our Parish Hall. Our administrative office, located in the Parish Hall, is open Monday through Friday, 9AM to 2PM. Sunday Church Services (Rite II) Mid-September to mid-June 8:00AM Holy Eucharist 9:00AM Family Eucharist with acoustic music 10:45AM Choral Eucharist Mid-June to mid-September 8:00AM & 9:30AM Holy Eucharist Dress for those attending services ranges from suits/dresses to casual and everything in between. Please come dressed according to your level of comfort. Church/Sunday School Classes are held for children in grades K – 6 each Sunday during the school year from 9:45AM to 10:30AM in the classrooms on the second floor of the Parish Hall. There is also a "Youth Forum" offered for students in grades 7 - 12. More information may be found under “Children & Youth.” Child Care Child care for infants through age four is available free of charge during the 9:00AM and 10:45AM services, but you are also welcome to have your children with you in church. Adult Forum/Coffee Hour From 9:45AM to 10:30AM an Adult Forum is held in the Parish Hall during which there may be a speaker or a video program on a faith-based topic followed by open discussion time. Refreshments are provided by parishioners. On the last Sunday of each month there is a coffee hour/social gathering in lieu of the Adult Forum. Membership If you would like more information about joining our Parish, please look for our "Welcome" brochure, found next to the Baptismal Font in the church, fill out the "Tell us about your visit" section, and place it in the collection basket during the offertory or mail it to the church office. |
