A Prayer for our Search Committee

Almighty God, we give you thanks for our being part of St. Mark's Church.  We pray that you unite and direct us as we search for a new rector.  Send your Holy Spirit to be with us and with the Search Committee.  Grant them wisdom and discernment.  Help them listen and respect each other and kindle consensus among them from the leading of your Holy Spirit.  Support those priests who hear your call to discernment within our search and surround their families with your care.  Give us the grace and will to follow where you are leading that your Name may be glorified and your people strengthened for service to others.  All this we ask through your Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.

St. Mark's Episcopal Church is a growing, Christ-centered community.  We strive to use our individual talents to do God's will by loving God and our neighbors through worship, education and fellowship.

St. Mark's Episcopal Church is located in Southborough, a small, charming, and attractive suburban town located 30 miles west of Boston.  Southborough is strategically placed near to area high-tech business parks and offers easy access to ocean beaches, mountains, and urban areas of New England.  Our parishioners come not only from Southborough, but also from surrounding towns, some including Marlborough, Hopkinton, Westborough, Holliston, Ashland, and Upton.
